My First Wedding - Angie + Freddie

I was so honored when Jennifer, of Jennifer Ho Photography asked me to 2nd shoot for a wedding!!  I couldn't be more excited.  It was my first wedding and I just wanted to see what shooting a wedding was all about.  I was nervous, thrilled, and had no idea what to expect.  It was a day filled with trying to coordinate getting ready, driving to and from OC to LA twice in traffic, and figuring out when I can nurse the baby.  But, it all worked out and I learned so much.  Mostly, how tiring a wedding is!!  Man, I was achy the next day!

Angie and Freddie were such an adorable couple and you could see the love they had for each other.  I loved the ceremony location at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs... so beautiful and lush.  And what a fun reception!  I am so happy to have checked off doing my first wedding on my list.  Thanks Jennifer, Angie & Freddie!  xo

The S Family

Did I already mention that I love my neighborhood?  The S family was also one of the first families we met when we moved here.  In fact, C was still pregnant will little Elle!  Not only is my neighborhood filled with great people, the parks around here are beautiful.  We started out at the S home and some shots of Elle and big bro Jacob, then moved out to the park.  It was a great day and a fun session - and I C loaned me some shoes for our own family shoots!  Not only can you get sugar and eggs from your neighbor, but shoes too!  Hope you enjoy these photos, C & T!  xo

The H Family

I have over 20 cousins all on my mom's side... and only 4 live in the U.S.  So, when my cousin Alyssa told me she was making a special trip to SoCal from overseas to visit us (well, and her husband's cousins), I was so overjoyed!  Alyssa is probably the cousin I am closest to, we grew up together back in ND and our families are close.  Well, I guess it's also b/c I can't communicate very well with my other cousins b/c most don't speak English.  :P

Anyways... I finally got to meet her husband Ivan and baby Ethan!  We spent a day together (too short!) and played with our kids and then headed down to my neighborhood park to do some photos.  Thanks so much for making us a stop on your U.S. tour!  I only hope we don't go as long in between seeing each other next time - maybe we will make it out to Taiwan!  xoxo
