Brianna's 1st Birthday

I was so excited when my friend Jen asked me if I could take photos for her daughter Brianna's 1st Birthday party. When I got to their house, Jen left nothing undone - the party was amazing down to the last detail. She even made the cakes and cupcakes herself. I had such a fun time walking around photographing all the kids, guests, and the birthday girl. Thanks for having me, Jen!! xo

The V Family

I photographed this family last year when Melissa was pregnant with Lucas. Now look, he is a cute 8 month old boy! This family is adorable and were so much fun to shoot, as they were last year too. Thanks again for contacting me, M - can't wait to see your boys grow up!

At the Park

We moved to a new neighborhood at the beginning of the year... on the day my daughter Tabitha was born. Yes, she decided to come 6 weeks early and surprise us on moving day. What a crazy couple months it was, unpacking and caring for a preemie. One thing my husband did daily was take my 2-year-old twin boys to the neighborhood park after work. He started seeing the same people there every day and the funny thing was, they all had a 2-year-old and a newborn! It was refreshing to see people in the same boat as us and nice to get to know the new neighbors, who made us feel so welcome. Here are some shots of my kids and their new friends at the park one afternoon.

The Q Family

So I took an 8 month hiatus during my pregnancy and birth of my daughter. When I finally felt I had control again, well, as much control you can have with 2.5 year old twins and a newborn, I got a call from our old neighbors asking about a session. I was so happy to do this for them because they are the best neighbors one can ask for, and their boys were our boys' first friends. This was my first session of the year. We miss you guys, Steve, Betsy, Ari, & Corey!!

Sharie + Jose

I had the awesome opportunity to tag along and 2nd shoot for the fabulous Erin Tukua. I learned so much from her during this shoot and it was so amazing and fun! This was Jose & Sharie's engagement shoot - what a fun and gorgeous couple!

The H Family

Another fun fun session done last year in August. It was a cloudy day, but this family still made it out to the Santa Ana Art District all the way from Temple City. The funny thing was we discovered that Pete is a good friend of my brother-in-law! What a small world. Loved this shoot although it was hard to crack a smile from Rainer. :)

The J Family

Ok, it's been a long time since I posted, but wanted to catch up on what I've been doing. This session was done last July when I was 2.5 months pregnant, basi.cally before I got too tired to do anything... :) This family was so fun to shoot! They were so go-with-the-flow and relaxed. And not to mention so beautiful!

7 months??

Holy Crap. It's been July since I last blogged??? I will tell you what happened: I got pregnant and had a baby. :) I think I was just too tired to do anything when I was pregnant. But now, I can focus on keeping this blog updated. I have done a few shoots since I last updated and you can see them here on my Flickr account.
